About The Future Begins Today
The Future Begins Today (TFBT) is a non-profit organization that provides opportunities for Troy students to find their personal success. TFBT provides support, educational tools and programs and opportunities to students who otherwise might not view post-secondary education or training as an option.
Core Values
Community: The Future Begins Today is a program developed by Trojans, implemented by those who live and/or work in Troy for the benefit of the young people of Troy. The Future Begins Today is a school and community based program designed to support Troy students reach their academic potential.
Education: The Future Begins Today is committed to encourage lifelong learning by identifying at-risk children in the elementary schools, providing support programs to enhance learning, and supplementing financial resources for the identified need of those students toward achieving their higher education goals.
Service: Community service teaches compassion and understanding, provides opportunity for personal growth and self-esteem, and promotes civic responsibility and investment in the community. Service allows us to give back to make a difference!
Opportunity: We create a safe, positive environment for Troy students to experience new opportunities in which to learn, grow, and achieve their goals.
